Blog: Popular

Really what is there to blog about these days? The freaky weather we keep having? Warm when it should be cold, cold when it should be colder, rain in California, etc.

How about the Oscars? That would be sooo much fun to blog about. Watching a show that is about a bunch of people that are already high on themselves cramming into a room for three plus hours to pat each other on the back for how great they have been in the last year.

What about politics? Nothing like a popular president to transform all that gerrymandering into a bunch of people that are already high on themselves cramming into a room for three plus hours to pat each other on the back for how great they have been in the last year.

Nah, I have been fighting it. See, the only direction I feel like going these days is sentimental. Sentimental gushing. Yep, in my heart I want to be cynical/funny but really all that I can lift a finger to type for is pure romanticized sentimental goo. Thats all I can motivate myself to write (I just said that).

Wait, I could just get sentimental about objects that I own and love and will never part with. Yeah, that would be a great blog. All about my Star Wars watch and Clash of the Titans lunch pail and that Stay Puft Marshmallow Man figure I won. Wouldn't that be an awesome blog?

The number one blog, according to technorati.com is www.huffingtonpost.com. Man, what are people doing with their free time? Serious? www.huffingtonpost.com? I just looked at it and the layout made me command w so fast the too large picture of Obama hadn't even finished loading.

Dear Huffington,

Whoever the hell you are. Learn how to make your blog attractive.

sentimentally yours,

Casson

PS. try writing sappy sentiment. Because writing about politics is the fast track to no-wheres-ville.

The great Santa Barbara Million Dollar raffle is ON! Yep, you can buy a hundred and fifty dollar ticket, and have a one in 19,500 chance of winning a million dollar house. In Santa Barbara, thats a one bedroom under the freeway. Its still the American dream though eh? Eh? (Canadian money welcome)

What else is sentimental? How about bears?

Seriously sick of being sentimental right now. No more motivation, sentiment power sapped.
